The Navajo Expedition

I found myself browsing through blogs and pictures from fellow wanderers attending Overland Expo this past weekend, and wishing I could have made it there myself, when I realized I kind of miss writing my own regular entries. I figure what better time to start up again than during my own modest exploration (and the reason I skipped OX2010) through the Navajo Nation with OAUSA. I’m going to try something new for this trip and set aside a little time each evening to recap the day’s events (and pictures), instead of my usual “its been 3 weeks I give up here’s a big pile of pics” approach… I think it will work better.

The Discovery is prepped, packed-up, and ready to go. I have not been able to get in much of a shakedown cruise since the refit, but I’m not expecting any trouble…

Speaking of just-in-time delivery – I took possession of and installed the last piece of essential equipment just yesterday: the car charger for my Fuze. After all, one cannot embark on a 12-day trip without music!
